Why? Because August is coming in with a bang.
A New Month = New Goals and new activities the entire month.
- I’m taking Rosetta Thurman’s Powerful Goal Setting class.
- I’m starting a new eating plan
in earnest– at least 1 green smoothie a day; meals that are 80% vegan/vegetarian and 20% “regular.” - I’m attending a festival every weekend!
There’s no time like the present to enjoy life.

Representation of BW/WM couples is DEFINITELY needed down here. You have to be careful of that “beached whale” look, though: With the abundance of seafood down here, you might be mistaken for something to put in a gumbo, or etouffee, or Sauce Piquant, or even Boudin . . . . 🙂

If you are attending a festival every weekend, dont you need some eye candy on your arm? Especially one that will help spread the word that Swirling is acceptable, fun, and NORMAL? Preferably some gimpy old white science teacher with REALLY hideous (I am wearing shorts today so I am pondering this) “White dead decaying bleached fish on the beach” legs with a Yankee accent? I am sure you can dig one up SOMEWHERE…
