Today was a fun-filled day – I almost forgot to post. I only have 4 more days left in the July Blogher NaBloPoMo Challenge, and I’d hate to stumble now!
I drove my Mother, her sisters and one of my cousins to The Berry see my new digs. We’d only gone about 25 miles (with 20 more to go) when my Aunt Doe (my Mother’s baby sister) asked,
“Are we there yet?”
FDLOL!
I was delighted by their oohs and aahs, and was happy to receive thumbs up all around. I gave them a mini-tour of the city, and they marveled at how much it had grown since their teenage years.
We enjoyed a late lunch after the tour and headed back home.
Life’s simple pleasures are indeed the best – and who better to enjoy them with than the ones you love?
