A 3-day holiday weekend is officially on deck.
So, what are you going to do?
Do some gardening? Home improvement projects?
Nothing?
I plan to try to get caught up on current backlog in the blog and podcast.
(That is, after I get caught up on some sleep . . . .)
Join in the Fray: What are you doing this holiday weekend?

Your last comment did not have a”reply” button, so i’m replying this way. Soon, soon.

Dude, come on! Whatchu waitin’for, Boo? *In the South Louisiana voice I don’t have* 🙂
Jeff S. says
Thanks for the info. Hey, the only reason i’d get on Facebook is to get into your group.:-)

You should be able to get on Periscope with an email address – I know they used to offer that option. It’s designed to interface with Twitter, but I don’t think it’s mandatory. Come on and jump in – the water’s fine and you only participate to the level you desire.
I receive comments – but for some reason people send them to me via email! We also receive loads of engagement for our posts on our Facebook page via likes and comments. Let me know when you get on Facebook so I can add you to our private group – we talk a LOT in there! 🙂

Seems like i have to join Tweeter to do Periscope, though. I’m more likely to join Facebook, somehow figure out a strategy of low visibility which still allows me to participate at pages such as yours. because there is a benefit to participating in a wider discussion about this topic. It’s totally fun, educating and worthwhile with just the two of us here (is there anyone else out there?), but i have a feeling it’s even better with more participants.

LOL! When you do, let me know so I can follow you.
Jeff S. says
Thanks, Michelle, i will for sure “scope” it out.:-)

All of that sounds so very cool! I’m happy you had a great time. Have you heard of Periscope? If not, you should check it out. You could Scope some of your adventures so we can have a peek into the coolness! I’m going to get you on social media yet – it’s not all bad! 🙂
Here’s a really good article that provides a ton of details about Periscope. Let me know if you have any questions. http://alaiawilliams.com/periscope

No Ice cream, but three cakes, plus brownies, cookies, and HUGE amounts of food, lots of unusual stuff, including Azeri pilaf. This was at the community garden which i work with regarding a spinoff project, the native plant garden. The woman whose birthday was being celebrated is a co-coirdinator of the project. Two different music “shows” as well, one being the patents of the birthday boy’s girlfriend, who perform in clubs, play acoustic guitar (the mom) and standup bass (the dad), the mom sings. Lots of people, a nice amount of social interaction, more so than i usually experience. The glow left from last night helped, even though i didn’t get to bed till 3AM.:-)

Jeff,
All of that sounds super cool! Eat enough cake and ice cream for me. *Grins*

A big weekend highlight already took place, my weekly music/dance event, usually on Wednesday but on Friday first week of the month. It was IMMENSE.. Today i’m going to a birthday party for a friend, she’s sharing it with her younger son’s birthday occasion, it’s her number 70. The rest of the weekend will seem routine in comparison.:-) Just maintenance, be it home, garden or some getting around.
