A Few Things From My Bucket List

The Urban Dictionary defines bucket list as, “A list of things to do before you die. Comes from the term ‘kicked the bucket.'”

My bucket list is fairly long. Here are six items that immediately come to mind:

1. Visit Australia
2. Visit Alaska and Hawaii
3. Return to Spain and Italy
4. Attend the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta held annually in Albuquerque, NM. The Plano Balloon Festival is also held annually in Plano, TX – shame on me for having never attended when I live so close! 
5. Attend an annual Cherry Blossom Festival – in Japan!
6. Take a mission trip to South Africa 

I can see that this particular list doesn’t cover things I want to do; instead, it covers places I want to go. Even though I’ve been blessed to travel extensively in the United States and abroad, there are still  so many places that I want to see.

I’m happy to report that plans are already underway to scratch item #6 off the list in 2013!
