“Believe that you can run farther or faster. Believe that you’re young enough, old enough, strong enough, and so on to accomplish everything you want to do. Don’t let worn-out beliefs stop you from moving beyond yourself.”
-John Bingham, running speaker and writer

In my opinion, you should do it first thing in the morning.. You’ll hate it at first, then you’ll wonder why you didn’t do this to begin with. It will make a morning person out of you. 🙂

JeffSt I do that every day . . . . ~le sigh. I at least have pretty much determined the cut off time I should shoot for to head to the gym: 8 pm. The trick is to train myself to stop what I’m doing – better yet, complete – whatever it is I need to do by that time. Hitting the gym goal has a multiple domino effect; doing so would also help me to get to bed at a more decent hour.
An alternative I have considered is going to the gym first thing in the morning. I’m so NOT a morning person; yet I can see how going first thing in the morning could actually work.
We’ll see . . . . .

Set a certain time ahead of tim for the gym. Then, give yourself a hard time if you fail to do it. Not too hard, just ask whether things could not have been done differently so that you could have met your goal.

JeffSt Mine is to believe I can make time for the gym. I KNOW I can, because I’ve done it. Maybe I should change that to say, Mine is to believe I can again make time for the gym. There.
