I believe there’s a song or a saying entitled “Love Is A Many Splendid Thing.”
There are few sayings I can think of that are truer.
Two people + two hearts = one feeling: Love!
Jeff and Toni, today’s featured couple, met online. They married this year on July 7.
Say it with me: Woot!

Spoken like a true newlywed! And just think – the hard knocks and bumps we encounter in our relationship all serve to enable us to know what we truly want, and better yet, to recognize it when we find it. You and Toni did that, and you were smart enough to just go for it. You two are reaping the benefits now and I know you agree with this sentiment: “How sweet it is!” 🙂

I – and my beloved wife – are a wonderful example of that. You never, ever know when you are going to be blessed with love. Never know where or when you may find it, never know what shape or size or height or color that package may come in. People that may prefer “their own kind”, hey, more power to them. We are ALL allowed our preferences. Just dont hate on our preferences. It is so incredible to have a loving mate. It was so intense and we were so compatible while we were dating, while we were engaged… and yet, when you become husband and wife, it STILL feels different…. just incredible…. because He blesses you with this inner peace and tranquility like no other. It is His gift to you and your mate as the gift of marriage.

Yes Michelle I’m single and I have tried online dating before.

Jeff, you’re a living example of what you speak. You and Toni have a wonderful story – out of the 7+billion people on this planet, you found each other. Life doesn’t get any more awesome than that! <3

It IS possible to find love. You never know where or when…. at what point in your life…. and it is such an amazing feeling when you do. My advice to everyone out there? Never give up. It is completely worth the journey.

I’m going to have to Netflix it; looks very interesting. I may have to read the book first, though.

I remember the movie, and the song, one of my first musical memories.

Irene, they met online! Are you married? If not, have you considered or tried online dating??

Jeff, no cheekiness taken! Shame on me; I’m a researcher and I should have double-checked it. I appreciate you sharing the correct title. If I’d looked it up, I would have seen that it originated from a book that was adapted into a movie. The story centered about an interracial relationship (WM/AW), and eventually even became a soap opera. Andy Williams sang the song, which apparently is very popular on oldies stations.

When I saw this photo of Toni and Jeff – and how happy they BOTH looked, that song title came immediately to mind. You can see the love in their faces, which is beyond awesome. They met online and probably would never otherwise have met – how cool is that??
Jeff S. says
The couple that’s in the photo? No doubt, sure looks like it. It’s amazing, given the odds, that members of compatible couples find each other at all.
Irene says
They are just lucky and blessed to find love in such a complicated world

I don’t mean to be cheeky, just helpful, the saying is “Love is a many-splendored thing.” Meaning love is beautiful, magnificent, and takes many, many forms. One thing that comes to me is how many couples elicit the remark “One would have never thought those two….”
